Hello - I am Sera J Wright - the creative behind Photography Byron Bay.

I am a well known Australian Photographer, Writer and Creative.

 

I am a well respected professional travel and destination photographer & marketer, editorial and commercial photographer, travel writer & blogger and content creator on Instagram.

​

I currently split my time between our farm in Tenterfield and our family home in Byron Bay, the town in which i was born and raised. I spend alot of time traveling and on the road working for clients to bring their vision to life.

With a passion for all things travel and adventure, you will always find me out in nature, with a camera in hand, chasing beautiful light.

I was born and raised in Byron Bay, New South Wales, Australia and i am the fourth generation of a local Byron Bay family. The unique coastal landscape that i call home is in my blood it's my passion and it's my love. Surrounded by some of the most spectacular scenery in the world, I make the most of my incredible location and can always be found with a camera in hand.

​

I am self-taught and have always loved capturing nature, landscapes and everything i see throughout my travels within Australia and around the World. Inspired at an early age by watching Sir David Attenborough documentaries on repeat and flicking through my parents monthly issues of National Geographic magazines and seeing amazing photographs from all over the world.

​

I am supported by Sony Australia and previously supported by Olympus Australia and Canon Australia and have worked with Tourism and Destination companies such as Samsung, Singapore Airlines, Changi Airport Singapore, Japan Tourism, Vanuatu Tourism, Air Vanuatu, Tigerair Australia, Samoa Tourism, Dunedin Tourism - New Zealand, Destination NSW/Visit NSW, Tourism Noosa, Tourism Whitsundays, Escape.com.au, Visit Sunshine Coast and many more, having completed over 60 tourism campaigns both nationally and internationally. I hope that my photos will inspire people to get outside, explore and travel to as many destinations as possible. I am passionate about nature and conservation, and i use my photography to raise awareness and educate people on why it's so important to care for and protect our amazing country and planet.
